It is the only volleyball in Ballarat affiliated with Volleyball Victoria and the Australian Volleyball Federation.
The Association runs graded competitions and social competition at the Arch stadium, Ballarat High School, Sturt St. (see local news)
When: Monday, 6:30 to 10:00
What: Senior (from 7:30) and Schools Competitions (from 6:30)
Cost: $6 per game adult, $4 per game student
Registration: $40 adults, $30 Junior(U19)
During the summer months a beach
competition is run at the Ballarat Aquatic
Centre, Gillies St.(see local news)
When: Monday, 6:00 until dark
Cost: $20 registration plus entry to the Aquatic Centre

Australian Volleyball Federation
About the Game
Volleyball is a fast moving game whether played indoor in on the sand. Indoor is a six a side game while beach is generally played as pairs or teams of four.
The concept is simple. You serve the ball over a 2m high net and then the opposing team has 3 hits to return the ball to your side the net, trying to play the ball to the ground before you can get to it.
