      At the time Hannah BUDD married Charles NEWBOLD (1859), she gives her age as 25 years, and is a Spinster.
      Hannah states her father is Edward BUDD, and her fathers occupation as a Boiler Maker.
      Charles is aged 25 years, is a Painter, and a Bachelor.
      He states his father is William NEWBOLD, and his fathers occupation is a Farmer.
      Both are living at 58 Newcastle St.
      The two witnesses were Ellis LEA and Jane KERRY.

      In the 1861 England Census (taken on night 7 Apr.), Hannah Newbold and her husband, Charles Newbold are living with Hannahs widowed mother and Hannahs four siblings at 58 Newcastle St. Hulme Manchester.
      Also resident with the family is Hannahs cousin, Mary A.Budd, a neice of her mother.

      Had they Emigrated ? or did Hannah or Charles, or both, died ?
      A Hannah Newbold died Mar.Qtr.1863, Chorlton.
      A Charles Newbold died Sept.Qtr.1868, Gainsborough Lincolnshire. Did Charles after the death of Hannah, return to his brother in Gainsborough ?

      However in a 1863 Directory, a Charles Newbold is recorded as a Baker, at 18 Allen St. Hulme Manchester.

      Hanson Newbold d.18 Aug.1867, aged 42 years, Gainsbro.
      The following appeared in the 1868 Wesleyan-Methodist Magazine p.478.

      Mr.Hanson Newbold was born at Beckingham, Notts., in March, 1825, but his parents were subsequently moved to Gainsborough.
      His father died suddenly soon after this change of residence.
      Mr.Newbold regularly attended the Wesleyan-Methodist ministry, and was brought to God in the year 1840, during a revival of religion, under the ministry of the Rev.W.B.Thorneloe.
      He soon became a prayer-leader and Sabbath-school teacher, and was a ernest and zealest labourer in these departments for a considerable number of years.
      At length he was called to fill the office of Local preacher, and proved himself most devoted to his work. .......
