      The following appeared in the London Gazette (16 Feb.1841).

      James Hezekiah Sutton, formerly in lodgings at No.4, Cresent, Salford, Lancashire, afterward in lodgings in Duke-street, Salford, aforesaid, and late in lodgings at No.69, Water-street, Manchester, in the said county, Shopman and Traveller.
      To appear at the Court House, at Lancaster Castle, in the County of Lancaster, on the 9th. day of March 1841, at Ten OClock in the Forenoon precisely.

      The nature of the charge was not given.

      At the time James SUTTON married Eliza BATESON (1841), he is residence at Pendleton, and he gives his occupation as a Tobacconist.
      He states his father is George SUTTON and his fathers occupation as a Farmer.
      Eliza is resident at Pendleton.
      She states her father is Joseph BATESON and her fathers occupation as a Cooper.
      Both James and Eliza were of full age.
      The two witnesses are Frederick NIGHTINGALE and Anne MENSFORTH.

      Frederick NIGHTINGALE married Mar.Qtr.1845, Anne MENSFORTH, St.Marys Church, Eccles.

      In the 1841 England Census (taken on night 6 Jun.), James Sutton is living with Frederick Nightingale, at Mottram St.Salford.

      James Hezekiah Sutton, aged 39 years, appeared at the South Lancashire Summer Assizes on Wednesday, the 14th August 1850, at ten oclock, a.m.charged for having, at Manchester, feloniously forged a receipt for money, with intent to defraud Benjamin Nicholas Saxon. Found guilt and sentenced to Six months, with hard labour.

      I could not find James Sutton and family in the 1851 England Census.
      But it must be remembered, that part of the 1851 Manchester Census was water damaged, due to a flood.

      In the 1851 England Census (taken on night 30 Mar.), Eliza Suttons (Bateson) parents and her four siblings (all unmarried), are living at Clifford c.Boston, Yorkshire.
      Elizas father, Joseph, is employing 2 Men and 1 Boy, while her brother, James, is employing 7 Men.

      This is a good fit. Was it the same James Hezekiah Sutton that died Mar.Qtr.1852, Bethnal Green, London Middlesex.
