In 1938 Inga, accompanied her father, Erik, to New York, on board the Gripsholm, which departed Gothenburg Sweden. Their address was given as Kammakaregat, 35, Stockholm Sweden. (Should read Kammakargatan).

Charles Maurice Robson (1922-1942), an Ordinary Seaman of the Royal Navy, was aboard the Anti-Aircraft Ship, HMS Tynwald, moored at the Mediterranean Port of Bougie, Algeria, when it was hit by two torpedoes, fired by the Italian submarine, Argo.
Tynwald sank rapidly in 7 metres of water, with 10 dead.
