At the time of their Marriage (28 May 1863), Joseph Hartley Budd gives his age as 20 years, and his occupation as a Rope Maker.
I could not find Joseph (Hartley) Budd, his wife, Mary (Hartley) Budd and family ? in the 1861 England Census, or subsequent Censuses ???
In the 1863 Slater Directory of Manchester & Salford, two Howarth families are resident in Davies St.Salford.
However in the 1861 England Census (taken on night 2 Apr.), it appears Marys parents and her two brothers are resident at 23 Hope St. Salford Manchester.
