Mary gives her age as 19 years.
She gives her fathers name as Robert BLINKHORN, and his occupation as a Joiner.
Both Joseph and Mary are resident at Cobden St. Manchester.
The two witnesses are George Albert HOFFMANN and Louisa Ann BLUNDELL.
Eliza Amelia Chappell appears to have been known as Amelia. This was possibly to avoid confusion with her elder sister, Elizabeth.
In the 1871 England Census (taken on night 2 Apr.), Joseph Chappell and his future wife, Mary Ann Blinkhorn, are both boarders at the household of the Whittakers, at 68 Cobden St. Manchester.
There is also the Whittakers married daughter, Eliza Blundell, and her son, Walter Blundell.
Eliza Blundell and Louisa Ann Blundell appear to be the same person.

It is said, very old man called Joe Chappell and his son, also Joe, visited family in England, in 1930s, from New England, USA.
A Joseph J.Chappell arived Ellis Island, 6 Dec.1915, on board the Saint Louis from Liverpool.
He gives his age as 39 years, his residence as 84 Washington St.Peabody Massachusetts, and states he was naturalised an American, 24 Oct.1905.
It appears Joseph John Chappell (Jnr.) retired to England after the Second World War.
A Joseph J.Chappell, aged 69 years, and retired, arrived Southhampton, 24 Jul.1946, on board the Brazil, which departed New York.
He stated that his future permanent address was 5 Station St.Hestbank Lancashire.
No other family appeared to be on board.
Joseph and Mary Chappell, are buried together, with their daughter, Emma, and her husband, James Carter, in the Philips Park Cemetery, Manchester.
There is also an infant son of the Carters.
