  In the 1841 and 1851 British Censuses the WASLEY family was living in Andrews Street. In 1844 George WASLEY was the innkeeper of the Red Lion, cnr of St Andrews Street (burned down in 1898). In 1883-1891 George WASLEY was the innkeeper of The Sloop, on the waterfront. 1893-1919 Mrs Elizabeth Harris Baragwanath, the daughter of George Wasley, had The Sloop Inn.
