In
1975, three 'one man businesses' combined operations to form a single
electronic repair business, which became known as RTD
SERVICES.
Operating
from the Geelong suburb of Hamlyn Heights, the small business
gradually grew to become the largest domestic electronics repair
business in Geelong.
Over
the years, changes were made to the business structure, and the
range of products serviced enlarged dramatically to encompass the wide
variety of domestic electronics equipment available in today's
marketplace.
Today,
over 30 years later, the business continues to operate from the same
location under the management of Mike Trickett, one of the
original operators.
Location
We are located in a low-density suburban shopping centre, approximately
3 Kms north-west of the city centre of Geelong. Free parking is
always available right at our door.

Provided
We offer repairs and service on most brands of Television, VCR & DVD
Players, Video & Digital Cameras - as well as a wide range of Audio
Products.

Facilities
Whether its a 20 year old TV or the latest Hard Drive recorder, RTD
has the trained staff and facilities to repair it.
Our
manufacturer affiliations mean we are fully equipped with the
latest test equipment, including computer aided diagnostic facilities.
We also have a large library of manufacturer service documentation, and
of course we have the back-up of the product manufacturers.
Authorised
Service Centre
As an Authorised Service Centre for all major brands, our staff are
constantly being retrained and updated on the latest products as they
appear on the market.
Warranty
Repairs
As an Authorised Service Centre,
we are able to carry our warranty repairs on behalf of all
major manufacturers, irrespective of which Australian retailer the
product was purchased from. Even some overseas purchases are eligible
for warranty coverage.*
Billing
Our policy is to provide the customer with a fully itemised invoice for
all work carried out. All faulty parts replaced are also returned to the
client. (not applicable to manufacturer warranty repairs)
