This section looks at what to plant and do in the vegetable patch and garden on a month by month basis.  It is not meant to cover everything that could be done or planted but rather highlight the most important tasks and those that I have most knowledge off.  The notes are for the Ballarat region in Victoria, Australia.  For more details on the general climate of Ballarat see Climate of the Ballarat Region.  Note that Ballarat is in the Southern hemisphere, So mid Summer is January and mid Winter is July.
