1. Thinly slice fruit and place in
large container.
2. Add all other ingredients and
stir briefly. Allow it to stand for 48 hours, stirring twice
a day.
3. Strain and bottle liquid in plastic
soft drink bottles and screw down the caps. Store
on their sides in a cupboard for approximately
two weeks. During this period the
natural yeasts in the drink should create a
carbonate effect. Some liquid may
escape from the caps as the gases in the bottles
expand, so it might help if the
bottles are stored in a splash tray.
4. Bottles should then be placed in
the fridge to suspend the yeast activity. They are
now ready to drink. Use within two or three
months.
